Ford HID light Kits

There are many Ford cars around and being in the family/budget sector of cars, many come with poor halogen style headlights. Quite often the you will have the option of upgrading your headlights to HID as a manufacturers option but this will normally set you back around £700 or more.

With our roads filling up and more and more obstacles to be aware of when driving, good lighting is an essential part of driving. When driving down those dark country roads, it is often not possible to see animals, branches and other strange items that have found their way into the roads. Being out in the country, these roads are not cleared as often as the main city roads.

There is something you can do to improve the lighting on your Ford. Ford HID kits can be purchased as an aftermarket upgrade that offers the same light, and in some cases more, as the OEM fitted HID systems.

These aftermarket HID kits are designed to replace your existing headlight bulbs and fit in a plug and play way. For the better HID kits you will pay around £100 (fraction of the OEM option) and you will in most cases be able to fit them yourself.

This small investment equates to a valuable upgrade. Having such an increase in light will make driving in night time much more enjoyable and much safer. Typically you will get 300% more light on the road than a standard halogen bulb. There are now higher powered HID kits which will give even more light, up to 400% more than a halogen.

Are these hid lights safe? these hid lights are not having any option to lower it?
